New Feature: Lift Tracker

The Feature
I built a lift tracker. I have been wanting something like this for a while, something more than just seeing the last few lifts. While I was getting started, it was nice to have access to the last couple lifts to be able to see what I was doing, and what I needed to try to accomplish each weak. Having a target to focus on made it easy to consistently improve, which resulted in some nice growth. However, as my notes sheet got longer and longer, I had to start deleting the old lifts. Now, I don't have a historical view of my plateaus, crazy jumps in weights, or even where I started at. I would also like to map it against my body weight, because when I was bulking hard I was gaining a lot of strength too, and now that I'm cutting I'm losing strength, so it would be cool to see if I am stronger or weaker the last time I was at this weight, which was probably around September. Not only do I want this tool for myself, but I don't think this type of tool should be something people pay for. Obviously data storage isn't free, but I can host it on this website for now. Maybe someday I'll make an app for people to use it and see their lifts with easy graphics and fun charts. Also, for anyone trying to get into lifting, its a lot less daunting when you can actually see what someone else is doing. I remember watching a bunch of fitness YouTubers like 8 years into their journeys, and its completely unrelatable. I didn't know what I was doing, I would get a workout routine and plateau but not know what was happening, etc etc. With something to compare to, hopefully it gives people one more data point to be able to figure out if what they're going through is normal, if they need to start bulking harder because they aren't getting stronger, or if they start losing strength on a cut that it's at a normal pace. Anyway, this is probably one of my most poorly written posts because I'm real tired, but I was excited to write about this tracker. I genuinely think it's so cool, and I would love to get it to a point where I use it every time I go to the gym instead of the notes app on my phone. The cool thing about being the person that built it, is I get to make all the product decisions.
